How is life? 

It is raining which is AWESOME! 

MY guinea pigs are fat. There is no use denying it.

I just finished the Goblet of Fire. It was fairly awesome. I may not recover.

I have slightly given up on Jurassic Park, but I think I'll try and finish it.

What do you think of an acting career?

As is Blimy Cow. Most of the time.

P.S.  I had a thought a while ago. I was like "I don't feel mad". It was weird.

Hermitage.

I want to be a hermit. Here's why:

1. No one to be around. Free to write your novel criticizing the public without having to interact. Frankly, I think I've had just about enough of that for a lifetime.

2. No responsibility. Not like, "Oh I gotta get up to go to so and so." but like, " I think I'll stay in bed all day and cry." and then you don't make an excuse.

3. Warbling. As loud and out of tune and peskily as you wish. All day. The same tune.

4. Having conversations with people in your head, and not getting funny looks as you argue to them.

5. NO PHONE.

6. I will be a hermit with internet. That never breaks down.

7. Acting your favorite movies out in peace.

8. Never looking at an undesirable textbook again.

9. Free reign to scream at the top of your lungs. I've always wanted to do that. A real throat braker. On a hill, possibly in the rain. Such fun.

10. No "saying the wrong thing". If you do, your imaginary friend doesn't get it anyway. They tend to pretty thick.

But I don't think I will. There don't seem to be many free caved hills around the place. And Mother wouldn't approve.

Perhaps I'll write a book.

A Day in the Life of Margery.

Do you know Margery?
She lives at the back of Little Lane of Musings, No. 17, the last house on the left. You'll recognize it by the enormous grayhound called Mr Brown that lives in the front garden. And the hedge shaped like a teacup near the front door, which is off its hinges.

She lost her pills this morning.We got quite a scare when she didn't make her rounds with Mr Brown to  visit the local ladybugs, and when we went to her door. There was no answer.

Thus we feel it is our duty to inform you that Mrs Margery Margenson was found under the sink, and is not up to visitors for a few weeks.

And don't forget to look for the pills.

Beasts.

Nature. Trees swaying leisurely in the breeze, while little clean birdies flitter from tree to tree, murmuring songs in there joy.  Lush, verdant grass, like a dry-cleaned jumper, and a swift footed horse kicking its hoofs at the wonderful wind.

IN YOUR DREAMS. 

 I mean seriously, dude, get a grip on reality here. What did I find on my lawn yesterday? A dead rodent. Actually, it was bits, scrapings, remains of a rodent. IN PARTS.  Lets just say, I feel for the person how found Judas with his bowels all out. You think the hunger games was bad. Live it. 

OK, so I meandered upon ( thankfully not literally, upon,only next to, but still,) a beheaded creature of not-so-unusuall-size. But wait, theres more! Are you excited?

You know nastly horridious desgustilating little cockroaches? I was sitting at my biology class, peering through a microscope at my cheekcells. I was on my chair. I felt a skitter of malicious feet, and I swiped at my leg. I saw it as it slittered from view, still clinging merrily to my shorts. I think I could have screamed. I had to wave my hand for a few moments in Biology Friend's kitchen, and then listen as other Biology Friend got a hammer, and mooshed it on the head. And then talked about it. It was very trowmatic.

Last, but certianly not least, a few weeks ago, I came across a bird. It had departed this life, and I suspect that sinister was at play. Its poor little neck flopped in a broken kind of way as I lifted it carefully in my gloved hands to place its mortal body at rest in a hollow especially for it. As I peered at its delicate feathers ( one hardly ever gets to see a bird so close up) a few red ants walked out of its eye. Lets just say, I buried it with a little less sentimentality as I might have, and haven't gone too near the spot since.

The cat's been throwing up.
The guinea pigs are defiantly not potty trained.

Orthodontics.

I have a rubber band joining my teeth together. It is very odd.
I must keep it one all day, every day, from this day forth, changing every day, until it busts, or the dentist takes it off.
Also I am writing a story. Or, I am dreaming of fame and glory, and trying to make up a plot. I am failing, but less so than I usually do, which is nice.
We went to the gym. And then ate fruit mince. Never mind.
I have found a few nice names for my story:

Wilma, ( I likes it much. Mother is not convinced.)

The Harry Potter Controversy

Right.
I just finished the Harry Potter series. I am now a Harry Potter fan.
I would like to say, now, a few words to everyone out there who isn't convinced that Harry Potter is OK for Christians to watch. Ready? I'll try not to be offensive, but be warned, I am a passionate kind of person.
To begin we'll have a little dialogue:

Well Meaning Person: Hi!

Oblivious Kid: Ah, hey there.

Well Meaning Person: Whatcha been up to?

Oblivious Kid: Weeeelll, I failed my maths exam, and I had a normal teenage breakdown where I yelled at mum, and had a cry, and got some medication.... Oh, yeah, and I watched Harry Potter.

Well Meaning Person: Err... Ah...What did you say???

Oblivious Kid: ( head tilted, best ' I think you're a bit silly, but I'll say it again, shall I?' voice) H.a.r.r.y P.o.t.t...

Well Meaning Person: HARRY POTTER IS EVIL. AHHHHHHHH. POOR CORRUPTED CHILD!

Ok, now don't get me wrong, I was not entirely convinced of its virtues either, until I watched the movies. All of them. It's no use seeing the first one and thinking " I'm not gonna learn anything from this 'magical' trash."
Good things take time.

One thing about media, is that part of what you get out of a movie is what you choose to get out of a movie. This is a very personal thing, which has to be honestly thought out by the individual. THE INDIVIDUAL.
As a Christian, God has shown me great things form watching 'secular' films, and they have helped me.
Of course, that doesn't give the license to watch everything, but it is a valid point.

One big issue with the series, is the magic. ( this is the time to gasp, stammer, cover your children's eyes)
Magic. What I got out of Harry Potter was a great fantasy backdrop to a fictional tale of love, forgiveness, doing what's right even when it hurts, friendship, and, what a secular person would say was chance, but what I would say is God protecting someone who doesn't deserve it. In other words, grace. (Of course this is fiction, but we should have a biblical mindset even when indulging in fantasy. God is God no matter what, where or how. If the story was real, it would have been God who was in control the whole time.) ANYWAY, do you really think that most thirteen year olds are gonna watch a kids' movie, and then go out and try blowing stuff up with a stick? If they do, they will be disappointed.
Oh, and remember, this isn't a movie for ten year olds.

There is another point I really need to stress. LOVE. It is a powerful thing, and we see a lot of it in Harry Potter, as well as its antonym, hate. I got really touched. I don't so much mean the 'romance' that comes in the later movies, but the 'normal' love. I was BAWLING MY EYES OUT AT THE LOVE IN THE MOVIE. I would love to go into details, but I would have to give away big spoilers, so I won't.
But we, like Harry, have something that Satan, like Voldemort, no longer has.
We have love.
In fact we have more than Harry. For the Christian has Love Itself. We have Christ.

Now, by this time you're probably like, "OK, Harry Potter is saintly." Wrong!
I mean, talk about secular! The only time God comes up in the story is in blasphemy. Sadly, like most media today, people don't find this a problem. I do.

Also, harry is not particularly respectful to his aunt and uncle, or teachers, etc.

Probably the best thing to do in this case, is to talk about the genre, to talk about the attitudes and problems in the stories, and to highlight the fact that even the best of people, like Harry Potter, are sinners, and need to forgive, and be forgiven.

In my personal opinion, HP is well worth watching. The plot is a masterpiece, the characters relatable, and  it raises some great issues.
Oh, and it also has some very cool quotes:D

Right, well. That pretty much sums up my feeling right now. I have been watching Harry Potter, and have made to the LAST movie. We are about halfway through, and I am just like, well,

ANYWAY. Myself is having a very social life this term. It goes against my advertising. Also, myself and my sister, are going to go to the gym. God willing.
